   Nellie was my daytime Phlebotomy instructor and EKG intro instructor. Nellie was very fair and supportive! I learned sooo much!! I highly recommend. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience at Northeast Medical Institute in Stamford, Ct.  The staff was very knowledgeable and professional. Nellie was my day time Phlebotomy Instructor. I was very nervous once classes began but Nellie is very supportive and really helped the ones who needed a better understanding of things. I passed my NHA CPT Exam on my first try, thanks to Nellie for being so informative! This is an amazing program and I highly recommend studying with this Institute to obtain your CPT License!!!\nThank You  Very good  instructor open to answer questions . I really enjoyed every step of the course.  Took the phlebotomist class here. The experience was great here, the teacher was phenomenal, and the small class sizes are a plus. Please keep in mind that the school does not offer an externship. The school did mention that they do not assist with externships. Due to this fact, I would strongly suggest finding another avenue that will. I wish I could stress the importance of having that additional experience when finding a job as a new phlebotomist graduate. You WILL need that experience, and it will be incredibly difficult to find a job on your own because no one wants to employ a new grad with limited experience. Please note, I also took the class during the pandemic, and was to receive CPR training as well, but that was cut short/removed from our plan of study yet we were not offered a refund for that portion we paid. I was looking to do a CNA or an additional program, and I honestly wouldn’t do it here. Not having an externship is my main reason for not coming back to this company. THANKFULLY I WAS ABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY PASS MY EXAM THANKS TO THE HELP OF THE GREAT TEACHER THEY HAD, but if I could do this class once more, I would not select this company. :)  This training is exactly what I needed to conduct my master's thesis. After losing my CPT to acceptance into medical school (excellent reason!), I had to find another CPT who would travel to 4 locations on the Appalachian Trail while following a cohort of 10 thru-hikers. The CPT may have to hike in to a remote location to draw blood, perform all the duties of drawing and post-draw care until we can drop off samples at a nearby lab. Additionally, the CPT could not expect to be compensated for their efforts!\nBy taking a two-week CPT course during winter break, I was able to control those negative extraneous planning variables, by getting certified, with two forms of proof for the IRB. On top of that, my Thesis Advisor and Human Performance Lab Coordinator hired me to draw blood on future university-sponsored studies. Another two lines on my CV!! great phlebotomy class I recently completed the Phlebotomy and EKG course with Lynn Corte.  She is outstanding and I learned so much from her.  She takes the time to explain the material very thoroughly and always makes sure the class understands each chapter.  She is very cautious and meticulous during lab and safety is always her number one priority.  I would recommend the courses with Lynn to anyone! Best School Ever. Loved all the classes I took and the instructors I had to take my CPR class here for work. My instructor was Sean and he was wonderful! I was the only student in the class so I was able to ask as many questions as I wanted. Sean was intricate in his answers and went through the entire class without missing a single important detail. I scored a 92% on my test and my errors on the last 2 questions were due to my lack of attention to detail. Thank you so much! I strongly recommend phlebotomy training at Northeast Medical Institute. Please take Lynn Corte, she was my instructor and she was great. She makes the class fun, exciting, and she really knows her stuff. I completely recommend taking her class, you will learn a lot from her. Great staff!\n\nI was originally going to take phlebotomy only. After a great experience and wonderful instructor, Lynn, I decided to take more classes.\n\nEKG also taught by Lynn. :)\n\nThe CNA instructor, Tymel, is patient, thorough, and makes learning skills fun. He has a knack for teaching. I also had Najera and Tamisha during 2 of the days. They were amazing as well!\n\nBLS instructor, Sean, has a ton of energy. Important  information and skills were mastered in only 3 1/2 hours.\n\nI was very happy that NEMI offered online options during this pandemic. Dan is very helpful with logistics, helping students to register for state and national exams, responds quickly to emails and messages, and very knowledgeable about all aspects of the program.\n\nPushing 50, I was hesitant to go back to school. I was comfortable from day one of class. This has given me the confidence to continue my education.\n\nIf you are interested in healthcare, NEMI is the place.  Ask for Dan. :) Thank you NEMI for the great experience! I started the class in late July early August with the online self paced cna program and then went rifht to the lab and labs skills. Right from the get go I was told everything I needed to know even about the clinical waiver which was is process. We were asked to sign a covid form which explained all the requirements that CT DPH set to graduate. The teacher Tymel and owner were great! The responsiveness was unbelievable!\n\nAnytime I had a question or wanted to know when the waiver would be approved they told me the most up to date information. I even emailed the DPH to see what was taking so long and they explained it is a process and NEMI had no authority, like mentioned, to process our certificates until they received the clinical waiver.\n\nNortheast Medical helped me attain my Temp NA to use for the mean time. The hands on skill training and the online were excellent! They go very much in depth about what happens in nursing homes and brings it to life by representing the nursing
