American Red Cross - Peoria in Peoria provides essential services to the community, including disaster relief and blood donation drives.    Staff was rude while answering questions. When transferred, I was put on speaker and asked, What?! Love volunteering her with a great group of people. I had a house fire was ruled arson , they came out that night , they helped me with the very min. Only after I went and dug through the hot ash's to find a paper copy of my i.d. , I lost everything in the fire wallet and all, then they haven't helped with anything, one person that lived with me they won't help he lost everything too. Cause he has no i.d. also lost in the fire, with the min..help they gave me I was able to get a motel room for two nights, and a change of clothes, I've been having to do whatever it takes to get a room every night since,still got no more clothes, they haven't offered to do anything else, and keep saying they don't do that, then wat do they do?  Maybe if I was over seas I cld get more help  I hate that I forgot the name of the two feeding people. The blonde woman and the man with the glasses were both sweet and helpful! They did an excellent job keeping food prepared for the group. The staff was great and knew that I didn't want to spend all night there.    Poor service, I think they are loosing ground. Automated phone service. Poor custoner service.   I have been here several times. The staff is kind, caring, pleasant and always puts the donor first.\nGeri has worked there as long as I can remember, her smiling face always makes the day better! Friendly staff,  feel like I contribute to the  community      Great people for a great cause💜 During Haiti’s country’s crisis 6 Billion dollars was donated to them and they only build 6 homes. Something isn’t right. They work hard to save lives Good place too Great teachers and services. Check them out please Great place to donate blood, just don't give them your phone number! You're allowed to not give them your number! No one wants calls several times a day. The workers here are super nice. Everyone is so friendly. Easy parking when I am there. I really appreciate all they do for the community besides blood drives and disaster relief. Things like CPR classes, babysitting education, and my favorite is storm spotter training in coordination with the National Weather Service in Lincoln, IL. This is a group of hard working, dedicated people who serve the public in so many ways. Thank you for all you do!
